Markstrom stopped 30 of 32 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom was solid in this contest, but he couldn't avoid losing consecutive starts. He allowed a game-tying goal to Viktor Arvidsson in the third period, and Lias Andersson racked up the only goal in the shootout. Markstrom is now at 31-13-8 with a 2.15 GAA and a .925 save percentage in 53 starts this season. The Swede will look to get back in the win column in another tough matchup Saturday versus the Blues.

Markstrom is slated to be in goal at home versus Los Angeles on Thursday, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom will be making his fifth straight for the Flames, which includes taking both ends of a back-to-back. The netminder is one of seven goalies this season to hit 50 games played this year and will likely be among the top of the board in that regard at the end of the season. Overall, the Swede's 31 wins marks a new personal best and could easily reach 35 before the regular season wraps up.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Both goals were redirections at close range by Valeri Nichushkin on the power play, leaving Markstrom little chance to respond. Despite the loss, this was a good game for the 32-year-old goalie. He dropped to 31-13-7 with a 2.16 GAA and a .925 save percentage in 52 outings. He's 3-2-1 in his last six outings, but he should get a chance to get back on track Thursday versus the Kings.

Markstrom will start Tuesday's game against the visiting Avalanche, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Among the league's top five netminders in wins (31), save percentage (.925) and GAA (2.16), Markstrom is having the best season of his career at age 32. He makes for as good a fantasy play as any, but the Avalanche present a tough test with their Western Conference-leading 3.79 average goals for this season.

Markstrom stopped 26 of 31 shots in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
This was a throwback to higher-scoring days, and the Oilers put three of their five goals past Markstrom on the power play. The 32-year-old has gone 7-1-2 with 23 goals allowed in 10 games in March, though he's given up four or more tallies three times in that span. He's often been much sharper between the pipes with a 31-12-7 record, a 2.16 GAA and a .925 save percentage through 51 appearances. He'll face another tough challenge if he starts when the Flames host the Avalanche on Tuesday.

Markstrom is set to patrol the crease versus Edmonton at home Saturday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom will be back in the crease for the second game of the Flames' back-to-back after stopping 16 of 18 shots against the Coyotes on Friday. That was the lowest shot total the 32-year-old netminder has seen this season, which no doubt factored into the team's decision to go back to him versus Edmonton.

Markstrom stopped 16 of 18 shots in Friday's 4-2 win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom faced 10 shots in the first period, but the Flames took control over the final 40 minutes. The 32-year-old gave up the first career tallies to both Michael Carcone and Vladislav Kolyachonok in this contest, though it's hard to fault Markstrom much on either goal. The Swede improved to 30-12-7 -- his first 30-win campaign -- with a 2.10 GAA and a .927 save percentage in 50 outings. Given the light workload Friday, it wouldn't be surprising to see him start again Saturday versus the Oilers.

Markstrom will get the starting nod at home versus the Coyotes on Friday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has actually been getting some games off of late, having watched from the bench in four of the club's last 10 contests. In the other six outings, the netminder went 4-1-1 with a 1.66 GAA, including a 19-save shutout over Detroit on March 12. While the team will likely try to keep him fresh for the postseason, Markstrom is the very clear No. 1 in Calgary and should continue to offer solid top-end fantasy value.

Markstrom allowed four goals on 38 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom allowed a couple of soft goals in the first two periods, but it was defensive breakdowns that allowed the Sharks to score twice in 28 seconds in the third. The last time Markstrom lost back-to-back outings was Jan. 4 and 13 -- a span in which he was deemed not 100 percent by head coach Darryl Sutter. The Swede's been more good than bad this year with a 29-12-7 record, a 2.11 GAA and a .927 save percentage in 49 appearances. The Flames continue their home stand with a back-to-back Friday versus the Coyotes and Saturday against the Oilers.

Markstrom will defend the blue paint during Tuesday's home game versus the Sharks, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom was excellent in his last start Friday against Buffalo, stopping 33 of 34 shots, but he ultimately came away with an overtime loss due to a complete lack of goal support from his teammates. He'll try to get back in the win column in a home matchup with a San Jose squad that's averaging 2.66 goals per game on the road this season, 24th in the NHL.
