Zajac's first assist came on Kyle Palmieri's opening goal less than five minutes into the game. The 33-year-old then added his second one of the evening on Brian Boyle's power-play marker late in the second period to tie the game 4-4. Zajac remains a big part of the Devils attack, logging just under 19 minutes of ice time per game, but it's his power-play usage that really adds to his value. He finished Wednesday's contest with 4:12 of power-play ice time, and for the season has averaged 2:13.
