Zack Kassian's agent, Paul Krepelka, confirmed that a two-year deal worth $3.5 million was signed with the Canucks on Thursday. Kassian produced 14 goals, 29 points and 124 penalty minutes in 73 games with Vancouver last season. He is projected to play on the second or third line next year.
