Zach Redmond has done a great job of bouncing back after suffering a career-threatening leg injury less than a year and a half ago. Redmond's suffered a severe cut last year when his leg was sliced by a skate. He had a goal and three points in 10 contests with Winnipeg this season and he's gone on to be one of the AHL St. John's IceCaps' top players in the postseason. The IceCaps are currently battling the Texas Stars in the Calder Cup Final. "It's been great to get back in the flow of things, to be playing and not be thinking about whether you'll be in our out of the lineup or trying to come back from injuries," Redmond said. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and will presumably be looking for a team that where he'll be given a fair shot to make their NHL opening game roster.
