Zach Redmond has been released from the hospital after a life-threating cut to the leg. Redmond, whose leg was sliced in a morning skate when teammate Antti Miettinen stepped on the back of his leg, had been in the hospital since last Thursday. He needed a three-hour surgery to repair his right femoral artery and vein. Redmond will continue his recovery at home in Traverse City, Mich., according to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.
