Zach Parise (foot) took part in Wednesday's practice just one day after being ruled out for at least two weeks. "I was stunned to be honest with you," Wild coach Mike Yeo said. "I shouldn't say that because that's the way he is talking to him even yesterday. It's very encouraging. It's a great example to everybody just how bad he wants to compete and help the team." Parise still won't play Wednesday, but his initial two-to-three week estimate now seems conservative.
