Yann Danis has cleared waivers and has been reassigned to the minors. The transaction probably means that veteran Nikolai Khabibulin will be activated and serve as Devan Dubnyk's backup on Wednesday. Danis' only appearance of the 2013 campaign came in relief of Dubnyk, during a 6-3 loss to San Jose on Jan. 22, when he turned aside all 14 shots he faced in two periods of work.
