Parise scored his second goal of the season and the only one for the Islanders in their 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

Parise has been a disappointment for the Isles this season with only those two goals and eight assists in 34 games. The Islanders weren't expecting huge numbers from Parise but were hoping he could provide consistent scoring while playing on the third line. Unfortunately for the Islanders, their two significant free additions, Parise and Kyle Palmieri, have only combined for three goals and 14 assists this season. They will need to get much more production from this duo if they get back in the playoff hunt.
