Schmidt (upper body) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Calgary, Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun reports.

The Jets want to give Schmidt some additional time to recover. It sounds like there is a very good chance that he will be back Friday versus Tampa Bay. Schmidt, who has been out since Dec. 15, has generated three goals, three assists, 37 shots on net and 40 blocks in 29 games this season.
