With the lower body injury to Josh Harding, the Wild may be on the lookout for another goaltender. Niklas Backstrom is already out with a groin injury and if Harding's lower body injury is serious enough not to allow him even to dress as the backup to Matthew Hackett, then the Wild are in trouble. Darcy Kuemper is fourth on the depth charts and he could be out for the remainder of the season due to an upper body injury that may require surgery while the fifth goalie depth-wise, Dennis Endras, left North America to play for IFK-Helsinki after an early stint with the AHL farm team the Houston Aeros. They may need to sign a goalie in Europe but if they do, he will have to pass through waivers first, like Marty Turco did earlier in the week. Stay tuned.
