With Scott Clemmensen about to return from an injury, Jacob Markstrom's two-way contract might buy his ticket back to the AHL - at least in the short term. On paper, it would be pretty surprising to see Markstrom get demoted after he pushed Jose Theodore for starts in Clemmensen's absence. It could be a simple matter of economics and roster management, though, as Clemmensen and Theodore are the ones with one-way deals. The official announcement is expected to be made tonight, according to George Richards.
