Winnik missed Wednesday's practice with a lower-body injury, David Alter of the MapleLeafs.com reports. Winnik was upended in Tuesday's game against the Stars, and while he didn't exit the contest, he was slow to get up from the hit and is evidently experiencing some soreness. The Leafs will wait and see if he can take part in Thursday's morning skate before determining his status for the game against the Devils.
