Wilson (lower body) was placed on injured reserve by the Predators on Wednesday, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.

Wilson's placement on injured reserve will be retroactive to Jan. 8, allowing him to return as soon as Saturday against the Wild. The Predators still have plenty of depth at forward for the time being, and should provide further updates on the winger's status as he closes in on a return to the lineup.
