Wilson (head) is nearing a return to action, Alex Prewitt of the Washington Post reports. "He's very close," coach Barry Trotz noted Tuesday with regard to Wilson's potential return to action, though at this stage the forward's status for Wednesday's game against the Islanders remains murky. That said, with Jay Beagle and Eric Fehr poised to suit up Wednesday, we wouldn't be surprised if the Caps proceeded cautiously with Wilson in the coming days.
