Wideman grabbed an assist in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran rearguard registered his fifth point of the season in his first game back after serving the previous four as a healthy scratch. Not many players in the league have tumbled quite as far as Wideman over the last couple of seasons, as he's gone from putting up a whopping 56 points in 2014-15 to serving nearly half the Flames' games this year as a healthy scratch. That being said, Calgary will need all hands on deck starting Tuesday with five games in seven nights, so he'll likely be dressing more often than not in the near future.
