While the Penguins are optimistic of inking Marc-Andre Fleury to a new contract, it's unlikely to happen this offseason. Fleury is entering the last season of a deal that carries a $5 million cap hit. General manager Jim Rutherford is a fan of Fleury, though his busy offseason isn't likely to include an extension for Fleury. The 29-year-old posted a 39-18-5 record with a 2.37 goals-against average and .915 save percentage last season, with an identical save percentage in the playoffs.
