Wheeler (knee) was activated from injured reserve Sunday, and he will likely play against the Kings. Wheeler was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Feb. 21, meaning he will miss the minimum amount of time required in his return. The winger has 44 points in 61 games this season, adding another 67 penalty minutes and posting a plus-12 rating. He should be good to go Sunday with the activation, especially considering the team reassigned Carl Klingberg to AHL St. John's.
