Weise (personal) will debut with the Blackhawks on Thursday, Eric Lear of Blackhawks TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Weise was dealing with some visa issues following the move from a Canadian club (Montreal) to an American one (Chicago), but it appears he's received clearance and will be good to go moving forward. He'll replace Richard Panik in the lineup Thursday, likely as the right wing on the team's fourth line. While he'll be around a more talented club in general the rest of the way, the veteran should also see a drop in ice time in his new role. It seems likely he won't be counted on to produce offensively as often, so it's quite possible he won't score as many points over the last month of the campaign.
