Weber scored his fourth assist of the season Sunday against Winnipeg, snapping a five-game stretch where he's been held without a point.
EDGE Analysis
Weber managed the assist despite playing just 10:35. Buffalo's second-round pick from 2006, Weber is an impending unrestricted free agent and is unlikely to be retained given the Sabres' youth movement. Weber is a physical player and dependable shot blocker, but doesn't offer much else and has rotated as the team's seventh defenseman for much of the season. He has just four points in 24 games and has no value in fantasy leagues.
