Weber (knee) will not rejoin the Buffalo lineup Tuesday versus the Red Wings. After undergoing minor knee surgery less than two weeks ago, Weber had set his sights on returning to action before the Christmas break, but the Sabres decided to table those plans since he's not quite at 100 percent health. That being said, he does appear to be closing in on a return, and will have more realistic odds of suiting up for the Sabres' first game out of the break Saturday against the Islanders.
