Wayne Simmonds continued his excellent season Thursday with a goal in Philadelphia's 4-2 loss to the Lightning. The power play marker gives Simmonds 27 on the season and raises his point total to 58, adding to his career-best numbers. Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek picked up helpers on the goal while Sean Couturier also found the back of the net in the defeat.
