Wayne Simmonds (concussion) was back at practice on Wednesday. "I think everything went well today," said Simmonds, who didn't participate in contact drills. "I feel good today, especially. I really don't know what's going to happen. We'll have to see, I honestly couldn't tell you whether I can play or not, it's for the medical staff to decide. It's obviously a touchy thing and you don't want to push it." He said he has been headache-free the "entire time," which is good news. His availability for Thursday's contest hasn't been decided yet, although it's probably doubtful that he returns that soon. Simmonds is listed as day-to-day.
