Watson returned to the lineup Monday against the Rangers following a four-game stint as a healthy scratch. He did not record a point in his team's 5-3 victory, and was a minus-3 in just 12 minutes of ice time skating on the Preds' fourth line.
EDGE Analysis
It's never a good return to the lineup when you are on the ice for all of the opposing team's goals and don't contribute to any of your own. Watson has had a pretty good run the past few years with AHL Milwaukee (44 points in 76 games last season), but at the NHL level he's struggled to find his game. He hasn't scored a point since Nov. 10 and has trouble securing an everyday spot in the lineup, giving him fantasy value of pretty much zero in most formats. Avoid.
