Vrana has been playing with AHL Hershey since being cut during training camp this year and has been thriving. In 18 appearances, the winger racked up nine goals and seven helpers. The team also promoted Paul Carey, so it is unclear whether the 20-year-old Vrana will get to make his NHL debut against the Islanders on Thursday or if he will be watching from the press box.
