Volchenkov was suspended for four games Sunday following his hit on Flames' forward Michael Ferland. Volchenkov has just two points this season through ten games, and will have to wait another four before he can increase that total. The suspension will keep him out of game action until Nov. 11 against the Oilers unless he appeals.
