Volchenkov (leg) returned to the lineup Tuesday versus the Avalanche, logging 10:03 of ice time. Though Volchenkov saw over three minutes fewer of ice time than he normally receives, coach Peter Laviolette may have chosen to limit his workload a bit coming off the leg injury. Volchenkov was generally not expected to play Tuesday, but his early return aided the Predators in their 3-0 victory.
