The blueliner managed just eight points in the first 32 games of the season, so his play since Dec. 30 definitely counts as an improvement. If we take off the rose-colored glasses, however, Vlasic's 20 points in 55 games leave him in position to fall significantly short of last year's 39 in 67 contests, which has been disappointing for owners that keyed on "Pickles" as a consolation prize behind stud teammate Brent Burns on draft day.
