Viktor Fasth has been assigned to AHL Norfolk on a long-term injury conditioning loan. He hasn't played since Oct. 16 because of a lower-body injury, which is believed to be related to his back. Fasth can work his way back to game shape in the minors, while the Ducks try to figure out what to do with their crowded crease situation.
