Viktor Fasth blocked 11 shots in relief Friday night during the Ducks' 3-1 loss to the Stars. Fasth came in after Jonas Hiller, who made 14 saves on 16 shots, departed after the first period with a lower-body injury. Even if Hiller could've returned, it was at least an excuse for coach Bruce Boudreau to try to change momentum after the ice was heavily tilted toward the Ducks in a first period that saw them get outshot 16-7. Fasth has been brilliant this season, with a 1.06 goals-against average and .957 save percentage and it wouldn't be surprising to see him get the start Saturday, even if Hiller is good to go.
