Veteran defenseman Sheldon Souray, who signed with the Ducks in July but has yet to make his Anaheim debut because of the NHL lockout, says the league's owners have no respect for him and his fellow players. "We want to get a deal done," Souray says. "We want a fair deal. We want to have a partner that respects us. As of now, they don't. It's been their way or the highway. It's been take this or leave it. Frankly, it hasn't been good enough.. . .I never thought losing the season would even be a possibility if you would have asked me two weeks ago or even a month ago. I just never thought that scrapping a season was realistic at all. Today, and probably within the last two weeks, it's a lot more realistic than it ever has been."
