Versteeg was held pointless and skated a season-low 12:26 in Tuesday's 3-1 victory over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Versteeg, who normally forms part of the Canes' No. 1 line along with Eric Staal, found himself on the bench a little more often than usual as coach Bill Peters relied more heavily on his second line of Jordan Staal, Joakim Nordstrom and Andrej Nestrasil. Given Versteeg's lack of productivity and declining ice time, there are better fantasy options out there for you right now. Go look.
