Versteeg (lower body) was not at Friday's morning skate ahead of Game 1 against the Wild, ESPN Chicago reports. Versteeg may have suffered his injury during the final game of a first-round series against the Predators, even though he got his normal amount of ice time in that game. Regardless of how the injury happened, Versteeg was already in danger of falling out of the lineup for Friday's Game 1, with rookie Tuevo Teravainen expected to replace the veteran on the third line. If Teravainen struggles Friday night, it's possible Versteeg could rejoin the lineup for Game 2, health permitting.
