Vancouer GM Jim Benning thinks adding Ryan Miller will be good for Eddie Lack. "If Ryan is our guy who is going to play the majority of the games, I think Eddie can look to him as a mentor," Benning said. "I think he can continue to grow as a goalie. Goaltending is a hard position. Goalies develop later. I don't think you know what you have with a goalie until they are 26 or 27." Lack is 26 and he played the first 41 games of his NHL career for the Canucks last season. He has two years left on his current deal before he becomes an unrestricted free agent and Miller is signed for the next three seasons.
