Zucker (lower body) underwent surgery for a core muscle injury Tuesday.

Per the Penguins' release, Zucker is expected to be out on a week-to-week basis. He's already on long-term injured reserve and won't be eligible to play prior to Feb. 13, though it's unlikely he'll be read at that time.
