At this point it isn't clear if Schmidt is dealing with COVID-19 or some other unrelated illness, but his status for Sunday's game versus St. Louis is nonetheless now up in the air. If Schmidt's unable to go, Nathan Beaulieu will likely draw into the lineup against the Blues.
