Ultimately, Andrei Markov (knee) will decide when he's healthy enough to return to the Canadiens' lineup. Canadiens coach Jacques Martin reportedly made it sound like Markov would already be playing if it was up to the coach. Markov might be erring on the side of caution because he returned from a knee injury last season only to reinjure it seven games later.
