Oettinger stopped 22 of 28 shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Rangers. The seventh goal was an empty-netter.
EDGE Analysis
Oettinger is usually very effective with a lead, but he allowed the Rangers to turn a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 lead before the first intermission. It was fairly even after that, sending the 23-year-old to consecutive losses for the first time since Jan. 14-18. He's now 19-8-1 with a 2.43 GAA and a .918 save percentage in a career-high 30 contests. Braden Holtby (lower body) is sidelined for an undisclosed length of time -- as long as he's out, the crease belongs to Oettinger. The Stars begin a road trip Tuesday in Toronto.
