Trouba (upper body) has been activated from injured reserve and will play Wednesday against the Blue Jackets, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports. Trouba was cleared to play after completing the Jets' morning skate without incident. He'll form a pair with Jay Harrison and suit up for his first game since Dec. 13. The Jets initially expected Trouba to be out until February, so his early return certainly qualifies as a welcome development. The blueliner produced four goals and eight assists over 31 games prior to suffering the injury.
