Travis Zajac will leave Winnipeg and return to New Jersey to discuss opportunities to play in Europe with his agent. Zajac had been hopeful a deal could be struck soon to end the NHL lockout. However, with this past week's turn of events he will look to play in Europe for the foreseeable future. Look for many other NHLers to ink deals this week with European or Russian clubs.
