Travis Zajac has begun doing physical therapy in his recovery from a torn left Achilles tendon. "He's still on the same schedule," GM Lou Lamoriello said. "In fact, he's progressing really well. I talked to him the other day and everything is on schedule. He's walking. He's doing the rehab he has to so do." The worst-case scenario for his return is some time after New Year's, according to Lamoriello, but for now the Devils are sticking with their original timetable of three months following his surgery on Aug. 18.
