Travis Zajac (Achilles tendon) didn't travel with the team to Winnipeg for Saturday's game. Zajac will instead continue to skate in New Jersey. Although him playing in Winnipeg hasn't looked like a realistic goal for some time now, it still must be difficult for Zajac, who was born in Winnipeg. "I definitely feel for him. He was excited once he saw the Jets were coming back," teammate Zach Parise said. "Right away he was talking about being able to go back there and play. So I definitely feel for him not having that opportunity." The silver lining is Zajac might be healthy in time for the Devils' next trip to Winnipeg on January 14th. We'll keep you posted.
