Travis Hamonic (broken nose) skated on Wednesday and it appears as though he will be back in the lineup Friday versus the New York Rangers. The Islanders returned defenseman Ty Wishart to the minors on Wednesday. Hamonic has been out of action since Feb. 4 after he was hit in the face by a shot against Buffalo and had to undergo surgery to repair a broken nose.
