Tomas Vokoun will likely become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Vokoun missed the entire season with blood clots in his pelvis. The blood clots were discovered in July 2013 and Vokoun, who was on his second and final year of his contract, was forced to the sidelines by the Penguins medical staff until he was allowed to practice during the Olympic break. He will become an unrestricted free agent and it remains to be seen if any NHL team will be interested in the 37-year-old backup.
