Tomas Vokoun will be between the pipes for Washington on Friday night versus Carolina. Coach Dale Hunter told Vokoun that he would start prior to Michal Neuvirth's shutout over Montreal on Wednesday. Hunter said he felt good about his decision because he doesn't want to overwork Neuvirth, who hasn't seen much action lately and faced plenty of shots (31) against the Canadiens. Vokoun will make his 11th start in 12 games for the Capitals.
