Tomas Vokoun isn't sure what happened to lead to him being forced to serve as Michal Neuvirth's backup since December 13th. Neuvirth will start in his fifth straight game on Monday. "I can't really tell you. I don't know what I did wrong to be in this spot," Vokoun said. "I'm a professional hockey player and I don't make decisions who plays, who doesn't. That's not question for me. All I can answer is where I play, how I play and how I felt I did out there and stuff like that. That's pretty much all I can tell you about." It's really not as hard to figure out as Vokoun makes it out to be. He allowed four goals on 21 shots on December 13th before being pulled. Since then Michal Neuvirth has been great so the Capitals, desperate to get turn their season around, have stuck with him for the time being. There, we solved the mystery. If it's any consolation to Vokoun fans and fantasy owners, we're confident that Vokoun will be given the chance to bounce back and fight for the starting job.
