Tomas Vokoun (blood clot) is expected to miss three-to-six months. If you took Vokoun as a handcuff to Marc-Andre Fleury, you should explore other options. It's not clear yet if the Penguins will stick with Jeff Zatkoff or sign a veteran backup, but unfortunately Vokoun isn't likely to play much, if at all, this season. For his part, Vokoun is more concerned with his long-term health than his hockey career at this point and we wish him a speedy recovery.
