Tomas Tatar has returned home to Slovakia to attend his father's funeral. He won't be available to play Thursday night against the New York Rangers as a result. Tatar lost his father shortly before he scored the game-winning goal and added an assist against Los Angeles last Saturday. In an emotional moment, he pointed to the sky in tribute to his dad after the goal. Our deepest condolences go to Tomas and his family for their loss.
