This campaign, he has played in the team's 36 games thus far despite their well-documented problems with injury. Fleischmann went through blood-related disorders the previous two seasons, which limited his playing time. "We tried the medication before and it worked, so I was pretty confident it was going to work again," said Fleischmann, who had two blood clots in his lungs. "It could be difficult, but I got used to those things. It helps me to play hockey." He has three goals and three assists in his past eight games and ranks second on the team with 23 points.
