Toffoli (illness) has progressed faster from his bout with mononucleosis than was expected, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Toffoli has been able to skate on his own the past few days, but took it one step further Saturday morning, participating with the Kings' projected healthy scratches during the on-ice session. The Kings initially projected Toffoli to miss three-to-four weeks after he was diagnosed with mono last Saturday, but there now seems to be hope that he could return immediately following the All-Star break.
