Toews will not skate Saturday against the Avalanche in the regular season finale for the Blackhawks, Scott Powers of ESPN Chicago reports. There's no need to put Toews on the ice with the playoff opponent locked up as the Blackhawks will take on the Predators in the Stanley Cup first round. The Blackhawks also are resting Duncan Keith and Corey Crawford. Toews finishes the regular season with 28 goals and 38 assists, almost similar to last season (28 goals and 40 assists).
